Flyin & BBQ May 2nd 2010

Hello everyone,
we the local LAA (Light Aircraft Association) based at Caernarfon Airport North Wales, are organising a " BBQ and fly in"
Peter is organising the BBQ and maybe a hog roast!!!! fingers crossed on that one for Sunday May 2nd 2010. We are now contacting all of the appropriate flying clubs and flying enthusiasts magazines with this announcement and also passing this information to motor car and motorcycle groups who may be interested in flying/driving in, or who may just come along to share the day and to show off their aircraft or motor vehicles with us.
BBC Radio, ITV Wales Television, The Daily Post, Welsh Air Ambulance and Police representations have been invited.
There will be a limited amount of space for camping overnight so as space is of a premium, early attention to this detail would be advisable. Toilets will be available in the control tower building.
We are ever looking for ideas to remind people that this is a lovely area and location and should be visited as often as possible when people are in this part of our beautifull country.
