It can happen to any of us at any time and the more you fly the higher the chances of it happening to you. There are a few things you can do to increase the chances of a positive outcome if it does happen to you: first of all is a positive mental approach to it, hundreds of people have survived a PFL and so can you, secondly know exactly what to do and in what order (the time to revise is not at 2000 feet when the engine quits), thirdly if you have not practiced go up with an instructor or a fellow pilot to practice.
Remember practice makes perfect
