I'm planning an instructor led 3-leg navigation cross country for Thursday the 24th of September.  It'll be in a Cessna 172 but don't worry if you've never flown one before as I can make the flight count towards your check-out.  First leg will be Caernarfon to Hawarden.  At Hawarden I plan to organise a visit to ATC.  Second leg Hawarden to Shobden where we'll stop for lunch.  Third leg Shobden to Caernarfon for tea, cakes and debrief.  If anyone is interested in flying IFR they can fly the first leg ending with a radar-vectored ILS into Hawarden.

Anyone interested?  PM or reply below.

Remember you'll have to pre book it, as they're offering a limited service due to staff shortages.

Also don't forget that during busy periods at Liverpool Hawarden have an ILS 'embargo' on RWY22. ILS to RWY04 with a circle to land maybe?
