Does Caernarfon airport and it's members have a club meeting and get together anywhere at all?

We are starting to get organisned at Dinas Microlight club (www.dinasmicrolightclub.co.uk) and with the many new students at Keiths school (www.microlightschool.co.uk) our membership is now growing to the size where i now feel i can organise a club meeting every month.

If you Fine Fella's have a meeting anywhere, would anyone have a problem if we joined you?

If you don't have a club meeting, what about getting one going between Dinas microlight club and yourselves?  This way we should have good membership numbers and this way it will be worth while people comming.   I'd be happy to work with anyone on this.

The bottom line is  ' No matter what we fly, we all have the same love - To be up there and not down here! '

It's just an idea, especially with these dark nights here and less flying being done, it would be great to at least talk about it.

Let me have your thoughts on it.

Nick

Unfortunately, Caernarfon hasn't had a Club for many years. Maybe again soon. However, the idea of a 'Flyers Club'. Everybody mixing and having a good time. Sounds great. Can I come?

Good idea. informal get togethers and away trips plus some more activity in the winter months. Who knows it could catch on well.

It worked ok in the past and was a good way of chewing over the wood and an excuse to nip out.

Well, can i ask you guys to mention to the others whom fly at caernarfon whom do not come to this forum about this surgestion and see what reactions are, and if others verbally think it could be a good idea, i'll run with it from Dinas Microlight club point of view and try to move this forward for us all.

I like spanners & black dog think it's the way to go, and the idea of actually doing something over winter is a great idea.

Wouldn't it be great for us to go to 'fly in's' next year as a caernarfon airport possie, and airplanes and microlights all meeting up and representing caernarfon.

Lets move quickly on this,

Nick.
